Gracerooms is a homegrown studioproject from Gregoor van der loo aka Gracerooms,that started around the year 2000. Gracerooms makes trippy, spacy, sometimes drumnbassy, ambient music that is heavily influenced by Ozric Tentacles (who introduced him into spacemusic), Gong, Steve Hillage, Eat static, Shpongle, Planet Dog stuff, LTJ Bukem, Adam F and The Police.
Gracerooms was only a studioproject untill around 2012 when he was asked to play on the Mushroomfestival in Lokeren (Belgium) by Pete Mush, the synthwizard of Quantum Fantay. Gracerooms played at the last 3 editions of the Mushroom festival together with Quantum Fantay and others. In 2014 Gracerooms played as support act for Ozric Tentacles in Roermond, Gracerooms hometown.
Live, Gracerooms uses lots of hardware synths, selfrecorded and twisted samples and is supported by longtime bandmate and good friend Paul Klaessen aka Lord Lister on bassguitar and percussion. Lord Lister also plays bass on lots of tracks on the Gracerooms albums.
