Behind the name of Akron, one man combines his influences on instrumental music of the '60s and '70s: the exotic classic Martin Denny or Les Baxter, proto-electronic sounds of people like Delia Derbyshire or Mort Garson, all kind of soundtracks (from series like Twilight Zone or Thunderbirds to Italian giallo films), unclassifiable music as Moondog and Sun Ra... All passed through the filter of a Joe Meek production.

Without being accountable to none scene or particular musical style, Akron combines all these sounds in a personal and particular way.

After the LP \"Voyage of Exploration\" released by Vampisoul last year, now comes this 7 \"for the label Carajillo Records.
