This is definitely... different! I hope you all are aware by now, that I don't like sticking to formula completely.. in fact, having the chance thanks to Patreon to try new instruments is a HUGE blessing. I wanted to cover this song for years now, once I could get a Tabla and Sitar and practice, so here we are! I used a lot of inspiration from The Beatles' Revolver/Rubber Soul albums and a cool Berklee School performance of an Indian \"Fusion\" jam. While this isn't the most progressive arrangement I could do, I think within a week I was really happy to at least mix and jam around with this kind of instrumentation!
Thanks to everyone who tuned in on Twitch while I arranged this song and hurt myself tuning the Sitar. I plan on arranging many more songs together! Remember to always experiment, think of your own heritage and the music it brings, and hope you enjoy this very experimental tune :) I especially hope my grandma enjoys it, she also has a passion for music and liked the last one I did this style!
