Cedric \"Im\" Brooks was a Jamaican saxophonist and flautist member of The Mystic Revelation of Rastafari, The Sound Dimensions and The Light of Saba.
Cedrik Brooks was born in Jamaica but lived and played in the States as well. He explored ethiopian music and was influenced by the likes of Pharoah Sanders, Leon Thomas and especially Sun Ra.
Cedric Brooks and The Light of Saba ‘world music’ was a blend of African and US, Cuban and other West Indian influences — calypso, funk, rumba, roots nyabinghi and jazz.
