The relationship of Bowser to the rest of the Mario characters has always puzzled me, especially with Princess Peach. Why would they continue to go golfing, playing tennis, etc., with a guy who routinely attacks the Mushroom Kingdom.

In my mind, the only way it makes sense if there is a lot more to the cover story. So, I wanted to reimagine Paper Mario's \"Princess in Distress\" with a much more mature concept of the relationship.
