Inner Experience is a compilation of solo piano music performed by Feona Lee Jones on a Steinway D at the San Francisco Conservatory in 2013. Beautiful, dreamy, and hauntingly introspective.
Inner Experience includes works by Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), Franz Liszt, (1811-1886), Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921), Robert Moffat Palmer (1915-2010), Johannes Brahms (1833-1897), Francis Poulenc, Claude Debussy, Frédéric Chopin, Johannes Brahms, Ottorino Respighi (1879-1936), Alfred Grünfeld (1852-1924), Maurice Ravel (1875-1937), Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849), and Claude Debussy (1862-1918).
\"Inner Experience\" is a gift of gratitude created by Feona in remembrance of her grandmother who passed recently. These eleven pieces evoke wistful memories of the past. Although we eventually lose everything we have, what ultimately matters can never be lost. Within the pain of that experience emerged a gratitude for the creative part of human life, which can turn a thing of loss to one of beauty and connection.
