This concept album was designed to push me out of my comfort zone as a producer, not when it comes to the genre but with the production techniques used.
Track 1, 5, 9 and 13 are made completely without samples. Every sound in these tracks is made with synths. Truth be told, there are a few instances of Spitfire LABS for some nice strings, but every other instrument and drum is handcrafted.
Track 4, 8, 12 and 16 on the other hand are completely build from samples. For each of those tracks I was limited to a small samplepack send to me by another producer. Kicks are the only thing not made from those samples (they are bazzism).
Tracks 2, 6, 10 and 14 are build with ten instrument tracks or less, no resampling allowed.
Tracks 3, 7, 11 and 15 dont have any constrictions except that they had to be hi-tech... mans gotta have some fun.
