Having so copiously salivated in front of the turntable, listening day after day to the universal musical heritage, Tiger & Balm preciptated themselves in a basement, open shitrs and mocassins, guitar bass and drum machine, to refresh what had so long played. Excess-free of ceremonies, assuming their love for beauty of nonsense, they selected, played and pressed Rec, the red button. A portion of sexiness, temptating grooves and lyrics, behind a veil of vapour dyed in blood and black, Tatum Rush and Robin Girod inaugurated Tiger & Balm in a snap. Without any questions. To pay tribute to some heroes of the past. It gives a Stevie Nicks on auto-tune, a dreamy Arthur Russell, a Patrice Rushen in one-shot or a Christophe (presently between life and death ! We are with you my friend !) on the Boulevard des Itaiens. Sotto l’effetto di lunghe salivazioni davanti al giradischi e dopo numerosi giorni spesi ad attraversare le parti più giunglose del patrimonio musicale universale, Tiger & Balm si sono rinchiusi in uno scantinato, camicia aperta e mocassini, chitarra basso e drum machine, per rinfrescare un po’ delle cosette che hanno occupato il loro giradischi. Senza troppi fronzoli, assumendo il loro amore per la bellezza nella leggerezza, hanno selezionato, suonato e schiacciato Rec. Con abbondanti dosi di sensualità, groove e parole seduttrici, dietro un velo di vapore sangue e nero, Tatum Rush e Robin Girod hanno fondato Tiger & Balm in uno schiocco di dita. Senza domande. Per rendere omaggio a degli eroi del passato. Ne esce una Stevie Nicks all’auto-tune, un Arthur Russell travestito, una Patrice Rushen in un colpo secco o un Christophe (tristemente lasciatici in queste settimane) sul Boulevard des Italiens.

Ohne Chi-Chi, zu ihrer Liebe für die Schönheit des Unsinns stehend, wählten sie aus, spielten und drückten auf Rec, den roten Knopf. Eine Hommage an die Helden der Vergangenheit.
