Mad Monster Mansion from the ever-amazing Banjo-Kazooie... done in our special style.

To start, I have to thank SixteenInMono for working on this track with me... a year ago! After a ton of time-crunches and things gone wrong, we weren't able to release this and another Halloween tune last year - instead you all got to see my Shadow Temple mini-movie. This time, I got the mix spruced up and grabbed Matt for another crazy and more campy Halloween video!

The arrangement is heavily inspired by Smash Mouth, old Halloween soundtracks, and more 90s rock than metal in a way.. That said, Sixteen's rhythms are super intricate and really pull things back into the metal fray. While Matt and I had bigger ideas for the video to tribute back to this awesome level, I think we honestly just enjoyed goofing around with costumes and trying to do night-time videos without lights! Sony did its best and I think our more serious video will really shine.
