The Devil Makes Three is a band from Santa Cruz, California and they released six full-length albums. The ''Longjohns, Boots, And A Belt'' is their second release and for my personal taste, their best work. What we have here is a special blend of alt-country, bluegrass folk, blues, jazz and ragtime. It’s hard to explain why every song, although they sound so similiar, sticks in your head, and why the album doesn’t get tiring. A haunting and beautiful album.. and to put it simply.. if you don't like that album, you have no soul.
