When Meisels' beautiful tango Fräulein pardon reached the Swedish boarder something happened... The rate changed from tango to foxtrot and it was suddenly faster. It was used in the Swedish revue Stockholm - Motala in 1929 and was recorded as foxtrot or slow fox in all Swedish versions I've found. It's nice, also, like foxtrot, even if it might not be the same romantic item...
I choose the version with Redvitt band an orchestra from the south of Sweden (Helsingborg) where Swedish Columbia did their recordings in the late twenties. Interesting also because there was not so many recordings done outside Stockholm at this time. So the Columbia recordings from this time is always interesting since they give us a hint of the development of music outside the bigger cities in Sweden.
However this orchestra did a lot of recordings (more than 200)
