The purpose of this video is to present learning Dakota vocabulary with the Plains Sign Language. It was created and Designed by Dr. Lanny Real Bird and Produced by Fort Peck Community College in 2010. Volume 1 & 2 contain @400 Dakota entries. Flashcards and CD are available. DVDs are available at Fort Peck Community College. Participants include: Nellie Silk, Tom Black Eagle, Barry Chambers, Lanny Real Bird and others. There is a Dakota Handbook containing all the entries available through Dr. Real Bird. It may be also available at the Candeska Cikana Community College. This video contains 100 entries.
