Just in time for Devil May Cry 5 comes Psamathes and my take on this insanely fun tune, THANKS to Patreon Request winner from February Sanj! The Request Theme was songs from 2019, and wow this might be one of the best I've heard from this year's lineup of games. I was actually asked by Psa to try this song and I was super scared of arranging a 6 minute monster while doing so much. We tried to combine similar effects and ideas from another collab of ours (releasing very soon!) but ultimately it was going to rely on straight up punchy guitars, drums, swooshy sound effects, and her killer singing. Like seriously she recorded these parts with so little notice!
Another amazing experiment from this video, besides me lighting everything on fire with After Effects, is my buddy and neighbor Zach from Metalien Studios mixing this song! A first for my channel, as I take production super personally, Zach brought a great perspective to the track and honestly pulled off a more commercial and killer mix than ever.
