C. L. And The Playmates - Lonely Street
Graham Cracker Records # RFM-406.
Awesome obscure rocker tune from Chestnut, Louisiana! Thanks to youtube for directing me on this lonesome rock 45! I've found it accidentely by clicking on this strange label in the youtube suggestions several years ago. The only rip of this 45 was on small channel MIKE http://rockin-hood.blogspot.com/ (https://www.youtube.com/user/Mikemusiclove) - with some cool obscure psych and folk joints - unfortunately it's abondoned nowadaws. And this marvelous song had only few listens - but i liked it's so much - that i started to listen it on repeat - and listened to it periodicaly until i've get luck to buy myself a copy of this 45 in the beggining of 2016. Label says it was produced by Ernest Self and written by Charles Bamburg. Above it there's no info about this record in the web/google. Any info would be appreciated. Vinyl rip from musicdawn 45's record collection.
