'The Impermanence of Self' is a collection of long droning pieces inspired by thoughts on the finite existence of our kind. The format for making this record was done by taking sub minute long compositions and stretching them into ambient drones.
The result is six compositions which vary in tone and atmosphere. Some feel empty, others feel ethereal but they all carry interesting sounds.
These pieces slowly develop over their long run times, creating soundscapes which can act as background music or an interesting tonal experience for the patient listener.
