St. Vincent's album Strange Mercy is extremely ambitious. There are a ton of experimentation going on here, but luckily it works pretty darn well. I found myself getting into the album really easily, digging the weird sounds and melodies. My favorite song off the album is \"Cruel,\" which opens up with gorgeous string arrangements, follows with dark undertones and even hits you with an awesome guitar solo. Cruel is just one of the great songs off Strange Mercy so I suggest you download the entire thing and listen to it all the way through.
