I tossed and toiled over what to do this year for the holiday season. Something I'm really starting to realize is when you've been doing video game music on YouTube for 10 years, you quickly run out of christmas/winter themes that haven't been done yet since they're all so good and easy to blow through in the first 2-3 years. Instead of hitting up a song I've done before, I wanted to give the gift of a game I've never covered before with one of my favorite winter themes ever!
Forgive the beard, I've been doing a challenge over at http://www.twitch.tv/familyjules where I've been streaming speedruns of Banjo Kazooie 100% everyday and I'm not allowed to shave until I hit my goal. It's been extremely difficult being able to do weekly covers, my outside commission work, and daily streams all at the same time during such a wacky holiday season. This cover was very close to not being finished in time having only finished it maybe hours before needing to upload to YouTube. I hope you guys enjoy how it came out all the same!
It's been a very sad and depressing year, but I hope this holiday season can bring a little joy to you and if my music can be even just a single snowball of happiness, then it's my pleasure to continue working hard for all of you. Happy Holidays, everyone!
