“To be,” is the golden plate that serves all else in our experiences here and beyond. Our consciousness, our presence and awareness, an utmost gorgeous fortune, is our gold. It is so easy to get consumed by the conditions of being that we lose our gratitude for it. For some people it seems nearly impossible to see past such things. Our challenge, because an active appreciation of the sword makes for a better swordsman, is to actively appreciate life, regardless of its contents and how they make us feel.
“To be” is gold. We must invest this wealth wisely and in a way that enriches self beyond our bodies.
