In April, we featured Memoriam Sanguinis by this experimental and esoteric British artist, and today, in our second instalment of Dungeon Synth Sunday, we bring you the latest album from Nietzu.
The Hollows of Time Eaten Oaks is, as the name suggests, an evocative, ancient sounding album, enriched with the passages of time. Modern trappings of synth are hammered, hewn and melded to a dark folk frame, fleshed out with a raw body of black metal and animated in beguiling and disturbing ways. Another absolutely fantastic album from this artist.
