Stonehurst draws inspiration form bands such as Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Pink Floyd. The four original members of the band - Tim Hunt on vocals and rhythm guitar, Braden Southee on lead guitar, David Hunt on Bass and Ben McGillivray on drums, formed 2007. Jay Arthur backing vocals and percussionist, joined in 2016 as the the last brick in the \"Wall of Sound\".
