I The Stranglers sono un gruppo musicale punk rock fondato l'11 settembre 1974 a Guildford nel Surrey.
Nel 1986, pubblicano Dreamtime. Il disco tratta principalmente dei problemi dell'ambiente, e contiene il pezzo \"Always the Sun\" che sarà numero 15 in Francia, numero 30 nel Regno Unito e numero 35 in Olanda. Dreamtime è anche l'unico album degli Stranglers che entrerà in classifica negli Stati Uniti.
