For a very long time I have stored old tapes from when I started making music - most of them are old 4-track recordings like the first Maschinenzimmer 412 recordings, demos for Pouppée Fabrikk and a lot of random recording sessions with random people from my teenage years. Last year I found two tapes that features the first solo recordings I ever put to tape, old recordings I thought were lost forever. I am not sure exactly when these recordings were made, but I am guessing early 1987 at the tender age of 15/16 using tapedecks, a Boss DSD-2 pedal, possibly an electric bass and some kind of drum machine. Restoration is now in progress... /hNB
