The Wrench (2013) - Daniel Hines FULL ALBUM

Playing Next: The Eunuchs - Revved Up Youth On A Thrill Rampage! (Full Album)
Random Page  /  Random Album

This one is a LOT different from my usual sound! I have a deep love of anything remotely jazzy, so I decided in the early 2010s that I'd let loose and create an album of instrumental funk/jazz/swing/rock, with many other pop influences hidden in there too. The 2010s were also when I was in my prog-rock phase, so there's a fair amount of mad keyboard solos and peculiar structures going on here. Again, this was part of my \"Brĕve\" project back then, and a prequel to Idyll. There is one track for which I cannot take full credit: Windows/Clocks/Stars was actually composed in 2007, mostly by Nick Siepmann and James Berry, old school friends of mine with whom I was in a student band at the time.

If you approve, or think it's an abomination, feel free to shout it out in the comments as that will help me decide what kind of music I ought to be concentrating on as a solo artist.
