The word \"palimpsest\" derives from the Latin, palimpsestus, which derives from the Ancient Greek ??????????? (pal?mps?stos, \"again scraped\"), a compound word that literally means \"scraped clean and ready to be used again\".
This album is an artistic reflection about reusing sound material. Context is the keyword, tracing the original idea to the finished work. Several works of art inspired each composition; paintings, films, poetry, dogs and the cosmos. My favourite things, enjoy!
