Formed back in 2013 in Southern Brazil, Porto Alegre, Sand Totem had undergone many changes from its hard rock high school band origins up to now. Finally finding itself in the Stoner/Desert Rock scene the band still tries as much as they can to be open and experiment with each and every distinct influence all types of music have to offer.
A Totem invoking a token of worship, made of an unstable and yet malleable material such as Sand, built on an ever changing environment such as the desert. Where the only constant is change and everything is constantly growing, transforming, collapsing and being rebuilt, a Sand Totem is born.
Believing pleasure through beauty is limitless and with the search for pleasure being widely known as a common goal for everyone, they strive to bring their work as an influence and maybe a source of pleasure for everyone. This journey begins with Cartago.
