This freestyle serves as Eminem’s pre-Recovery warning shot. Em uses the beats for Drake’s Over and Lloyd Banks‘ Beamer, Benz or Bentley to announce his intentions to return to the top of the rap game.

This was also, in part, a response to a challenge issued by Rick Ross, calling out Em' to battle. After Ross heard this, he instead decided to collaborate.
