Artist Biography: Listen For The Light out of Havre de Grace, Maryland. A few months back we released our debut EP \"Common Ground\" featuring guest vocals from Spencer Charnas and JD of the band Ice Nine Kills. Right before the EP release, we played a show with Rise Records metalcore band Miss May I, and we were also interviewed live on 98 Rock. Our EP was recorded by Warner Brothers A&R Greg Parker at Amped Recordings. We recently recorded our new single \"Maverick\" that features guest vocals from Chris Fronz of Attila (Artery Recordings). We have a Sumerian Records showcase show coming up as well as a huge show that we haven't announced yet!
Song Lyrics: Maverick means nonconformist, free spirit and eccentric. The lyrics in this song are pretty much our way of telling people we are who we are and we're here to stay. We have a bunch of different influences, we're just about being free and loving music.
