Esther rolled into town with her ace band of great folks to show us how it's done. Lower 9 refers to the lower 9th ward in New Orleans, for those wondering the reference. She's releasing a new record soon, and this is one of the new tunes off that one. She's been on tour ths year in just about every which way direction you can imagine. This is the first installment of a little series of videos we did at a soon-to-be-historic venue in South Nashville opening later this year, Flatrock Music Hall. It used to be an old church, and the folks down there were kind enough to let us film a few videos in the hallowed space. Still got the dusty pews and stained glass windows, not to mention the booming acoustics any good church provides.
