The Impossible Pirates - Sixty Incredible Years Of Baseball 1960 Pittsburgh FULL ALBUM

Playing Next: 1? LP - 1960 - FULL ALBUM

This is from a vinyl record and may have a few audible defects. Please keep in mind my videos are never meant to take the place of higher quality sources, and I urge everyone interested in owning this album to seek it out.

\"The Impossible Pirates\" is the story of Sixty Incredible Years of Baseball... Narrated by Bob Prince, KDKA's Voice of the Pirates, with Pittsburgh Press Sports Editor Chet Smith and KDKA Newscaster Paul Long... Recorded interviews and play-by-play of immortal moments in Pirate history... The sensational World Series victories over the Senators in 1925 and Yanks in 1960... Harvey Haddix losing a no-hitter to the Braves in the 13th inning... Rosey Roswell grabbing the mike [sic] from Bing Crosby and yelling \"Open the Window Aunt Minnie\"... Ralph Kiner and Dale Long home run heroics... Pirate highlights as told by Ford Frick, Joe E. Brown, Branch Rickey, Honus Wagner, Danny Murtaugh, John Galbreath, Joe L. Brown, Dick Groat, Roy Face and other sports greats (from the album's liner notes).

This original longplay record album was released in the USA as Thorn-Beach Records TB-1001 in 1960, and is part of my personal collection. I ripped its contents for my enjoyment and created this video hoping to share it with others who appreciate hard-to-find and obscure recordings. Should the current copyright holders require its removal from this site I will comply.
