Twilight Time (Ram-Nevins-Nevins-Dunn) by The Platters.
This pretty lyrical treatment of the old Three Suns instrumental hit of 1944 gave Tony Williams and the group their third (of four) national number-one singles. Note in this original single release: at the 1:09 point Williams sings “in the same and sweet old way” and at 2:00 he sings “in the sweet and same old way.” Over the years, a ‘corrected’ remaster has been used for LP and CD reissues in which the (1:09) “same and sweet” was removed and replaced by a copy of the (2:00) “sweet and same” audio.
The song \"Twilight Time\" was first recorded in 1944 as an instrumental by The Three Suns and became their signature theme.)
