This is the story of Apollo Robinson and his crew aboard the inter-dimensional space craft The Herod IV.



Apollo Robinson was the first human to be born in space and spend his entire life floating in zero G. Without the restraints of gravity, special medical treatment and hormonal experiments have allowed the size of Apollos brain to expand well beyond normal human restraints.



Apollo Robinson is the smartest man in the universe.



A crew of the most brilliant space travelers earth could muster join him on a journey through the very fabric of the molecular structure of existence. Beyond space and time.



Using a method of transportation developed by Apollo himself called Scanning. Apollo can take molecules and transport them through signals and construct gateways in the universe.



Using this method they set off for planet Ephraus XI.



The most promising habitable home for a new race of human beings.

However something goes wrong and the ship and crew are reassembled off course deep in the Northern Local Void.

The crew float aimlessly in the nothingness and dark with a heavily damaged ship and haunting transmissions from earth.

Apollo searches for a way to complete their mission. The integrity of the ship is failing. They float in the Northern Local Void for 3 years.



9. The Portals of Insanity 38:04



The crew of the Herod IV slowly go insane and begin turning on each other. Overtime all but Apollo and the ships AI remain the only sentient beings left alive.



10. Drifting in the Northern Local Void 40:55



Using the remaining resources left by the dead crew members Apollo is able to survive the 38 year journey to a gateway that had been previously assembled before the start of the perilous journey.



11. Terraformer (Out of the Dark, Into the Sand) 47:44



Apollo reaches Ephraus XI and sets foot onto a planet for the first time. After a life time trapped in chambers and corridors in narrow space stations, the smartest main in the universe, a captive of science itself had accomplished his goal; to have a world all to himself. To roam free.



He stands on the beach and knows it was worth it...
