Actif de : 1988 à 2004



Après le split de FIXED UP, le Havrais François LEBAS (guitare & chant) fonde les BACKSLIDERS en 1988 avec Eric VAUBOURG (basse) et ZOOT (batterie).

Le trio balance un rock sans concession et publie \"Impose the worst\" en 1990. Deux ans plus tard GOOLOO s'installe à la Batterie et Pascal LAMY est engagé à la guitare.

Pour les sessions de \"Rock agains the clock\" (le troisième album) produit en 1996 par Jérôme SOLIGNY et Forent BARBIER, le groupe revient en formule trio avec Laury PICARD à la basse. L'année suivante Christophe PAILLETTE devient le nouveau bassiste pour leur quatrième album \"Bend or stand\".

En 1999 Olivier FONTAINE est l'ultime batteur du groupe qui signe l'album \"No way\" en 2001, dernier album du groupe qui splittera en 2004.
