This is the title song from the album \"Desperate Men\" \"The Legend and the Outlaw\".This remarkable album made it's way up the Gavin Americana Chart in 1996 passing everyone. The song written and sang by two of Nashville's greatest writters rested at the number two possition. Johnny Cash had held the number one possition for 14 weeks. When Burns received the call that Desperate Men would unseat The Man in Black and take the number one spot, Burns tried to stop the record from moving to number one. He was unable to stop the record but did receive a hand written note from icon Johnny Cash congratulateing him on his number 1.
