Well.. I definitely can't say cosplaying or costume making is easy anymore. Huge thanks to Pandora (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEbmtZPDKs-FBSQDmBNe3kw) who helped me with every step of making my very first EVA foam costume.. and though I hardly had the skills or tools to get this remotely passable I was really happy with the chest-piece which I think defines the Mandalorian armor in general! I wanted to cover this song last year, but was overloaded with tunes that I thought might work better.. and I'm glad I got around to doing it! I had the arrangement done pretty quickly, though I had a ton of inspiration from 2000s metalcore in some of the riff-writing and I definitely wanted to revise things a few times. The mix is a bit bass-heavy for once, but I'm finding that works a bit nicely for these soundtrack covers.
Visually, I always try to experiment with Star Wars videos as it's my hugest influence on special effects. Doing a mix of Green-Screen, Black Screen, Practical, and Outdoors, it was a big challenge trying to fuse together all those shots under a single grade and look. I did most the compositing with Red Giant's \"SuperComp\", basically a cheat code of a plugin to glue all your layers in the video together, and used a good mix of 3D Models I found freely available and ProductionCrate assets to sweeten up my backdrops. I know that these videos don't look as sharp as if I had just shot everything in my room, but that's not what I think defines the channel in the first place too. Plus maybe in the future I can work with more visual artists, or costume-makers.. so they turn out even better. Have a safe, fun Halloween everyone!

I do NOT make TABS or SHEETS for my music. #TheMandalorian #TheMandalorianSeason2 #StarWars
