Guitar: My Mesa Boogie rig went into a Rivera Silent Sister Iso cab. I had an AKG Perception 220 which is a condenser mic that has a Max SPL of 155 db which is good because it gets loud in the iso cab. I like this mic because it is an FET mic which I think is less transparent than other condenser mics. I've tried a dynamic mic and then a ribbon mic which both sounded awful to me but when I use the condenser mic it sounds good.

I mostly used my Fender Strat that had a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails pickup which is a high output ceramic humbucker that fits in a single coil slot. It had a floating tremolo that I had braced to make it a fixed bridge. I also used a friend's Les Paul Custom that had (I think) a Guitar Fetish Crunchy Pat pickup which is a high output ceramic humbucker.
