Stained Glass -- "If I Needed Someone" (RCA) 1966

Playing Next: Chordettes - Lollipop
Random Page  /  Random Song

Written by George Harrison and produced by Danny Davis
A cover of George Harrison's song from the Beatles' UK album, \"Rubber Soul\" and from their US album, \"Yesterday And Today\".
Another cover appeared from the Hollies in the UK in 1965, which was released in the US on Imperial in 1967.
The Stained Glass were originally named the Trolls and came from San Jose. They changed their name on signing with RCA. \"If I Needed Someone\" was the first of four records for the label. They switched to Capitol in 1968, where they released three more 45s and two LPs, \"Crazy Horse Roads\" and \"Aurora\".
Unfortunately none of the 45s or the albums reached the Billboard charts and the group disbanded in November 1969.
