Another exemple of Hanns Bingang and his orchestera, sadly the recordings for good jazz orchesteras in Sweden was limeted, and normally they just was used for recordings of schalger and even hambo, schottis like that. I have nothing against schlager from that time at all, but it would be interessting to have more good exemples from all musics styles that they actually played, Still this is a good exemple of Bingang and he makes some hot around this schlager hit from 1931 especelly at the end from 2.10.
Some words also about the melody written by Helge Lindberg . The melody was orginally written for the Wasa theater new years cabaret, and was recorded also by Zarah Leander in duett with Sven-Olof Sandberg, even if I like Zarah a lot I prefer this recording since the orchestera is so much better in this recording.
