Alton Rubin aka Rockin' Dopsie started performing professionally in the late '40s, but his debut album came out in the mid-70s on Sonet in Sweden.

He frequently toured Europe and was known and loved for his high energy performances that made it hard to stand still.

Here he is seen and heard with his band the Zydeco Twisters featuring the great tenor saxplayer John Hart, who also performed with Clarence \"Gatemouth\" Brown
