This is my SLASH guitar cover of Rocket Queen by Guns N' Roses |m|
I'm using a backing track from Rock Multitracks (www.rockmultitracks.com) and playing all the SLASH guitar parts myself.
Rocket Queen is the closing song of GNR debut album Appetite for Destruction. According to W. Axl Rose the song was written for this girl who was gonna have a band and she was gonna call it Rocket Queen. This girl is \"Barbi Von Greif\" who, according to Slash, was only eighteen at the time and had a notorious reputation being a \"queen\" of the underground scene back then.
During the mixing sessions, Axl brought a woman named Adriana Smith to the studio and had sex with her so that the sounds could be recorded and put over the bridge of the song. Because these sounds were not included in the backing track, I've found myself the audio of a girl moaning and added to the cover ;)
