A very rare, short-lived label from the early 1930's, which used masters from Piccadilly and American Grey Gull.
Simcha (Pronounced ''Sim-ka'') is a Hebrew word meaning ''Joy'' or ''Gladness'', so the name ''Jerome Joy'' gives a clue as to it's meaning.
''Jerome Joy'' was a pseudonym for a few bands on this label, and in this case it was Jack Leon and features a vocal from Al Bowlly.
This recording is not only of interest due to it's rarity, as Walkin' My Baby.... is a completely different take to the one issued on Piccadilly, which was recorded in June, 1931.
Bell-Bottom Trousers however, is the same take issued on Piccadilly, which was also recorded in June, 1931 and also features Al.
