A pretty tune recorded by Ernest V. Stoneman and the Sweet Brothers in 1928 for the Gennett recording company (according to an article by Lyle Lofgren for \"Inside Bluegrass\"). A drunk friend of mine liked this song, probably because of the lyrics:
Oh little darlin if you was mine
You wouldn't do nothin but starch and iron
Say, darling, say
Starch and iron'd be your trade
And I'd get drunk and lay in the shade
Say, darling, say.
Ah, love, 1920's style. Also, the photo featured has nothing to do with the Sweet Brothers - I just liked it and stuck it there.
