Inspired by the event of life itself, 'KEEP THAT JOY' comes from a place of humanity, and fulfilling
the need to lift each other's spirits! KISSANGWA is asking those of you who are having
frequent ups and downs, to listen to this track and you'll know what to do!
An encouraging release from this multi-talented artist, presented to us by AKONGO REKORDS.
The song itself grew over 10 years! A well crafted piece of music to evoke pure joy and spread
positive energy to its listeners. Featuring the talents of Mike Soper, William Scott, John Kelly,
Chris Bakalanga and Mulele Matondo, this track was recorded at AKONGO MUSIC. With a
music video on the way depicting an exact circumstance where the all important musical message
of KISSANGWA is received by a depressed woman, we are fully reminded to
'KEEP THAT JOY'!

KISSANGWA is a Congolese professional artist, a multi-talented singer, drummer, composer and
producer! His music is a blend of traditional Congolese music along with some AFRO JAM - AFRO JAZZ
& AFRO SOUL! His devotion to music led him to play with the legendary Takinga, the famous Groupe
Jolino, the talented Kool Matope and finally the exceptional Kunda Sisters. KISSANGWA isn’t known
for moving only the Congolese audience with his rhythms and beats. His exceptional live performances have
taken him to South Africa where he moved in the early 00’s and performed with many artists: Vivian Jones
- Erni Smith - Judith Sephuma - Jimmy Dludlu - Claire Phiilips - Melanie Scholzt - Maya Spencer and
Steve Dyer. KISSANGWA also share a stage with some of the best South African artists, most recently,
Jonathan Butler. While playing with Afro Fiesta, KISSANGWA wrote \"MATINDA\" which came out as
number 4 on \"Heart FM 104.9\" Top 40 Chart South Africa, in 2006! His last production included the NEW
BRIDGE albums: “Reflection of love\" and “All I need\". KISSANGWA is currently working with the
London based band “KONGO DIA NTOTELA\", 2021 will be a big year for this artist!
