Girl is a former alias of Andrew Huang. Crafted early on in their career, the alias' name was \"a small protest of the electronic scene being even more heavily male-dominated than most music spheres\". Girl is very Aphex Twin / Autechre inspired and the alias' output has many nods to these artists (see: this album title).



In 2011 Girl, alongside almost all of Andrew's other aliases at the time, was retired in an effort to consolidate all their music under their own name.
