Santa Esmeralda & Jimmy Goings enjoyed a hit in the summer of 1979 with \"Another Cha Cha\" which saw their sound move away from the flamenco-rock-disco sound and take on a more Latin flavour. Their 5th album \"Don't Be Shy Tonight\" was released in April 1980 and followed much in the same vein although the lead single \"C'est Magnifique\" did not become as popular as \"Cha Cha\" had been. In the US where Casablanca Records distributed the group's records, the laid back reggae title track was chosen as the A-side. This was their last LP to be released in the US.
