With \"Avarrus\" the Finnish band Jääportit has effected its third auditory manifestation. The album contains five diverse songs, composed and produced by T. M. Mäkelä in Tajuntanikaiunta Studio during times and spaces in the period from 2004 to 2006.

The record's musical style grows over simple limits. Electronic sequences blend into progressive elements. Roots dig down deeper into the unknown. You travel across levels as rhythmic combinations distance themselves from preceding minimalistic soundscapes. The music of digital machines is enlivened by acoustic instruments such as violin and female voice. In lyrics' stead the story is carried along and afar by soundstream gathered from a live environment. From the twilight of the Age of Aquarius one is moved to the whereabouts of a misty future, and via the nucleus of space, back again.

Album was published by Epidemie Records on CD Digisleeve, 21st of December, 2006.

Limited edition of 500 copies in gatefold cardboard sleeve.
