My son showed me how to use the youtube, so I am uploading an extremely rare track from my Styx collection. This is an extraordinarily rare original studio version of the track \"Fooling Yourself\" that never was pressed on vinyl. A guy I know who worked at A&M records in the 1970s passed along a copy of the original master. The label ultimately wanted the track to be more dance-friendly, so it was tweaked in post-production to the version that ended up on the album, and the band played it to the released version from then on.

Here is the unaltered original recording, the way Tommy, Chuck, J.Y, Dennis, and the Johns originally intended.

That keyboard solo at the end gets me every time!
