After releasing a couple demos, Sacrifice entered Phase One Studios in Toronto in 1989 to record Soldiers Of Misfortune, released by Diabolic Force of Canada in October 1990.

This album birthed their second and third videos, the opening track As the World Burns, and the title track Soldiers Of Misfortune.
