NOTE: There must have been a special chemistry between the awesome crooner Adam Aston and the bandleader Henryk Wars, which made a masterpiece out of almost each recording they performed together. Such is this rendition of a huge Polish hit “Andriusza” - so-called “Russian foxtrot”, which was a special fox-trot genre very popular in prewar Poland, where the “white” Russians minority was large and influential. Interestingly, this song was also performed in the 1930s by the international star Pyotr Leshchenco who sung it in Russian throughout Europe turning it into a gem in his own repertoire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgbOOnzd9aU
