In the '80's, when Achzeit were still in their relative infancy, Si (Simon Doughty) and Vek (Kevin Beer) created a lengthy, meditation-style piece called The Green Ceiling. Then in 2007 they revisited the general concept or style and regarded it as a side project in the Achzeit Universe. So they recorded this album, using a hard disk multi-track recorder operated by Si. The recording and its improvisations were done in one meeting at Vek's Highview studio. Then Si took it all away on the digital multitrack device and edited it at his Rainbow Bridge studio. All the post-production work was Si's effort, and Achzeit (here called The Green Ceiling) had a great little album, in two long, atmospheric tracks.
