Puerto Hurraco Sisters are 50% of Wiesbaden's heroes „Frau Doktor“ with Frank Rahm, the musical mastermind of bands like „Spermbirds“ and „Kick Joneses“, plus a talented young trombone-player. This first-class ska-jazz-'boygroup' continues the pattern that was started during Frau Doktor times in cover-versions like „Moanin'“ and „Birks Works“. They do this by not only helping themselves to themes from the hardbop and soul-jazz era then infusing them with traditional Jamaican dance-music styles, but also by not shying away from using the occasional Stevie Wonder-Song.
